Unrealistic, sure but you know how that goes.

Totally agree.

I mean Dick seems to like pounding goon's faces in. When you watch how unrelentless he is, you start to wonder, "yeah that last punch definitely caused brain damage."

Then Dick doesn't stop pounding & you figure the guy's definitely not gonna recover.

Finished the show.

Best scene of course was the fight against Batman. Hell yeah! I think they portrayed Gotham, Wayne Manor, and the Batcave in a really cool way. Also, loving the Arkham Asylum based Batman suit.

I found it humorous that the police raided Wayne Manor during the day time...like they applied the vampire myth to Bruce & figured he'd be weaker whilst the sun was still out!

Don’t even consider them a team at that point

And damn Dove with the nude scene

Jesus Christ Lyla Garrity is a Goddess.

Aerosmith's got some pretty fine offspring.
Steve fathered Liv & Dove is the daughter of Rick Dufay, the guitarist.

In mysterio’s First appearance he tricked everyone thinking he was a hero until spider-man uncovered the truth

Very likely same thing for the movie

I don't know anything about Mysterio but this sounds like the bogus Mandarin reveal in IM3 all over again.

The trailer was pretty underwhelming...battling huge cgi creatures has really lost its appeal.

They seem to be squeezing the cameos in pretty fast.

Ep.2 Hawk & Dove...the story line seems to have the potential to move on & leave them out completely. Hawk's a boring brute on his own & Dove could be out of action for months...

Haven't seen Ep.4 yet but bring on Doom Patrol.

What platforms are you guys watching this on?

All we get here on Netflix (Aust) is the 2min promo basically telling us we can't access this show.

I know I can watch it on my smartphone to access the interactive functions but fuck that.

Personally I thought Manta's mercs were more credible & skilled than him.

Manta seemed more like an annoyance than a serious threat to AM.

And it seriously lost its shock value when everybody kept making explosive entrances.

So I work at a community kitchen.
We run these corporate functions where we get groups of people (from various companies & organisations) to prepare large amounts of meals to feed the less fortunate.

The basic rundown is an introductory speech then they go into the kitchen to peel & chop vegetables...volunteers gather up the vegies & the chefs cook up big vats of curry veg & rice or pasta dishes.
Whilst the food is cooking, the corporate group gets sent back out for snacks & another talk. Once the food is cooked, they come back into the kitchen to package the food into take away containers with their company logo sticker on it.

The other day, we had a small group of probably 12 people. Mostly Asian, Indian & a couple Middle Easterns...none of them could speak fluent English.

Anyway they'd finished peeling & chopping & it was time for them go back to their seats so we could carry on with the cooking...

The head chef, instead of saying, "It's time to take a break. You can go back to your seats now..." yells out, "GO BACK TO WHERE YOU CAME FROM!"

The racial implications obviously flew above their heads but I was pissing myself with laughter.

To be honest the vampire theory for Birdbox is more credible than the alien invasion of A Quiet Place.

So you're cool with fondling kids?

From the age of 1 to 12 that's very much a NO

13 and on it is what it is. By 13 if you haven't started experimenting with sex in some form or another then you're sheltered and bless your heart.

Any 13+ person who mingles with someone like a celebrity or famous person of any sort already has some level of sophistication, ie they don't have 100% innocence rating.

And finally, innocent before being proved guilty. Kind of important to have evidence of wrongdoing, put on a trial of your peers and judged accordingly, otherwise it's business as usual.

Do you know what "innocent before proven guilty" means? Is Kevin Spacey in jail?

The rest of what you said is just disturbing.

If you recall, when I was an admin I was the one that campaigned against the Jailbait thread in the Jungle Room.

Much to the consternation of the actual ephebophiles at the time.

I actually didn't find anything you said as disturbing.

You stated an opinion & that's that.

Your apology was sincerest not necessary IMO.

I liked it.

I kinda wonder if they were going for the evil spirit (I.E. vampire) thing with the creatures here. They never seemed to be able to enter homes and it started in Romania IIRC

Even the novel it's based on simply refers to them as "creatures" & the whole situation as "The Problem."

It was a post apocalyptic story &  I get the impression the author never had no desire to go into any depth of what they were meant to be.

Please accept my sincere apology for commenting on this subject in a creepy way.

It was wrong of me to infer that teenagers could be sexual, and I am truly sorry.

I can appreciate how creeped out and disgusted you are given the consequences of my words.

I take full and complete responsibility. It was wrong of me. There is no excuse for that type of behavior.

Please be assured that I have taken all the necessary measures so that this type of mistake never happens again.

I deeply regret it ever having happened at all and I am willing to do whatever it takes to correct the situation.

Once again, I am truly sorry and humbly ask for your forgiveness.

And then you offer the candy...

I never understood the backlash Moffat copped although he did have a bad habit of alluding to interesting sub plots but never following through.

Chibnall however is playing it too safe with his stories & seems incapable of adding more "mystery & intrigue" to the doctor's character.
