Guy Ritchie's King Arthur.

Thoroughly enjoyed it!

Surprisingly it wasn't as violent as I expected from Ritchie but it had some pretty dark imagery at times.
The fantasy elements blended nicely into the story...especially the use of creatures summoned by the mage.

Some humorous banter between the characters but casting Aidan Gillen (Petyr Baelish from GOT) as a good guy was an odd choice...kept expecting him to have an ulterior motive every time he was on screen.

I didn't like the generic army of suits Tony had to fight - it's the typical drone army that Marvel seems to do so often.

It was the highlight every IM fan wanted to see but it was also the biggest disappointment of the film.

It was a pretty tedious battle to sit through just to get to the end credits.

If that is true, as much as I love GoT, they are turning Dragonglass into the end all of plot devices, Kills white walkers and cures grey scale? And its mentioned in a book no one gets to read and some how everyone else forgot about? And there is a shit ton of it under an empty castle?

Well the Dragonglass also stopped Benjen Stark from turning into a White Walker when the Children Of The Forest shoved a shard into his chest.

But the most obvious reasoning was that Shiree Baratheon was cured of GreyScale & she lived in DragonStone...above the mine.

Haven't read the books so I don't know if this is obvious or not...

Apparently one tv fan has freeze-framed & enlarged the image of the page where Sawmill reads about Dragonglass...

It mentions, Dragonglass can cure Greyscale...which is pretty lucky considering Jorah is at The Citadel & Daenerys is at Castle Dragonstone where lis beneath a mine of Dragonglass.

I enjoyed the series as a kid but I honestly can't remember what it was about.

Really dogged the Eagle ships.

Insert montage of Peter experimenting to figure out how precisely his spider-sense works, and VOILA!

Between wet dreams, morning glories & Spidey sense...he's gonna be a very confused teenager!

You will get "citizenship" upon arrival.

"It says you're from Tatooine. What kind of Commie Land is that?"

Behind the scenes footage shows Gwendoline Christie back as Capt. Phasma.

And Laura Dern too!

So Marvel ups Pete's game by giving him spidey sense?

I'm not sure if it's particularly the DKR's version...but The Man Wo Laughs, a 1928 American Silent Horror had a character, Gwynplaine, played by Conrad Veidt who was the original inspiration for The Joker.

Shame they didn't get Lynda Carter to do a cameo.

JL trailer on the big screen before Homecoming.

There simply was no wow factor at all.

It is so fucking refreshing not to have an origin based subplot.

Thoroughly enjoyed the movie although I thought some of the cgi Spidey scenes were a bit hokey compared to previous movies. Fortunately they were mainly long distance shots of Spidey in action.
I also felt there should've been more references to Peter being just a kid in a costume...no one seemed surprised at all of his boyish stature. Even when Toombs realised Peter was Sipdey, he wasn't surprised at all
how young he was.

The split ferry scene was a bit of a let down. Never once did it feel like the ferry was in any danger of sinking. When the webs started snapping, it just felt like Spidey was disappointed he couldn't fix something rather than lives were in danger.

I honestly thought that whole sub story of Tony moving his belongings & tech was a trap to capture The Vulture, especially when the plane turned out to be un-manned.

I didn't think the MJ reveal was forced but I felt Peter referring to his aunt by her first name was a calculated push to purposefully forget about Uncle Ben.
