Do you really think the MCU is going to move beyond Tony Stark, Fury, Steve Rogers, the original Thor, etc. and just start focusing on new characters, or new assumers of old mantles (a new Cap, a new Iron Man, a new Thor, etc.)?
I guess rebooting the whole thing is a risk; but so is trying to have a MCU without the main guys. Myself, I'd burn it all down and start over, with everyone in it from the start.

They're already starting to focus on new characters. That's why we have BP, Antmam 2 and Captain Marvel coming out instead of a new Ironnan or Captain America film.

Ah looks like my prediction was wrong. Oh well, I don't mind since it was a good surprise ending.

If combat speed is the same as flight speed them we know Superman is actually slower than Flash.

And the race at the end would be unnecessary.

Thing is superhuman, too. And more so than Luddendorf

They should do a soft reboot. DON'T retell the origins, but don't include all of the convoluted continuity. Just start with the standards: Xavier runs a school for mutants, and he has a team of teacher-soldiers called the X-Men who run mission in defense of mutantkind.

The whole point of the X-Men is that they fight I a world that "hates and fears them." Mutants have to exist, and people have to know about them, for the discrimination aspect. Otherwise, they're no different than any other super team and not really the X-men.

Gotcha. I would consider that a reboot, though.

I thought you meant rebooting the MCU.

Oh! No. They definitely aren't going to do that.

There was no struggle. Superman did a simple, one-armed bicep curl and she got pulled off her feet, after putting her whole body into resisting.
Why the fuck did he take a misstep forward when she pulled you Krytonian cock sucker?
I could ask the same of you, since you seem to think he can increase his mass at will.

But I'll humor you and say because she's stronger than he thought. Doesn't change the fact that he casually overpowered her with one hand as soon as he tried. He also held her in a one-hand grip, that she couldn't break, and then tossed her like an afterthought to go after Flash.

Considering what we've seen mutants do in the Fox films, there's no way they could be considered "laying low."

Hell, one of them tried to kill the POTUS with a stadium on television.

Does Blob fly down? Or does he simply manipulate his personal gravity?
So Superman has the Blob's powers now, is what you're saying?

The problem is that WB doesn't have any faith in their characters and so, doesn't really know what to do with them. It's no coincidence that the most well-received DCEU film, Wonder Woman, was given more of a hands-off approach (because the suits didn't really care or think it'd sell, ironically.)

What they need to do, first and foremost, is make sure that the audience cares about the central characters. that's how franchises are built and what keeps fans coming back for sequel after sequel. If your main characters are unlikeable then who would come watch them a second, third or fourth time?

They aren't going to use the IG.

Most likely, they'll reboot them and likely keep them separate for a few films. then we'll see a Secret Wars/AvX mash-up to integrate them together.

Haha oh man. How are they not becoming a monopoly now?

Well there's still WB, Universal and a couple other film studios, so it isn't a monopoly yet...

And the Simpsons being right as often as they are kinda creeps me out.
