Yeah it's ironic that these scenario's seem to only be helping these guys.

Didn't Howard Stern do something similar?

Work mainstream until he finally said something that got him in trouble?

Went on his own and makes more money that way now?

Yes, Stern was the foundation for Sirius radio and I believe he intentionally sought to get out of his original contract for the more lucrative satellite radio deal.

Why are all the Superman fan boys the exact opposite of Superman?

What are you talking about?

By analyzing the options available to O'Reilly based on Beck's The Blaze network means what exactly?

If you had simply analyzed the options, it'd be one thing.

However, your post suggests that you're happy that "O'Reilly comes out on top!"

So you have a problem with someone providing basic analysis.

Paula Deen found herself in a similar circumstance at The Food Network. She was fired, sponsors fled, and she was left out in the cold. She took the remnants of her fan-base and created a company where she got the lion-share of the revenue through their subscription.

O'Reilly has a MUCH bigger platform than the aforementioned Beck and Deen and a significantly larger number amount of supporters. O'Reilly will set up a subscribers only news outlet with other contributors and pull in much more money than he did before.

O'Reilly is going to take the Glen Beck template and at least double the income he generated.

O'Reilly comes out on top!

That's why it's hard to really debate fighting game characters. It's like, "Shao Khan kills everything! Oh wait...he just lost to Stryker. Never mind."

The games have canon that have to be addressed in a comparable manner to the comic characters we debate.
Guy...I'm aware. I just don't care.

Then SILENCE yourself and stay out of the thread!

Hyperion is Superman's status in Marvel.

No, he isn't. That would be Hulk. But your point about relying on character standings in their own company/universe is still true.

However, keep in mind that the reason these characters (i.e. Superman, Hulk, etc.) hold such a place is because they're given those feats/moments. So, in battle board terms, while BM and Supes are peers, I'd give the nod to Superman because his history shows that he's the "go to guy" when there is a universal feat that needs doing (more so than Blue Marvel is.) So I'd say it plays a part but I also wouldn't base my entire argument around it because that's stupid.

You may misunderstand my point.  I'm not saying that Hyperion holds the status in Marvel that Superman holds in DC.  I'm saying that Hyperion is the greatest example of the status Superman would be given within the MU.  Down to the magic weakness, weakness to a specific radiation, empowerment from sunlight, identical powers, similar origin, etc., he is every bit Superman Marvelized.  Superman's status in DC only works in totality when he faces other DC characters, but when facing Marvel characters, the fact that his greatest analogue is just another elite top tier has to come into play to some extent.
Exactly. Which is what a battle forum is. We wipe away statuses and go with power lvls, skills, etc.

I edited and added some to my post, but I agree with you.  I view battle forums as at least placing company status as low priority if any.  Company status already affects feats and performance, so why add to that?
DC fanboys are the fucking worst. They add status and their own status fantasies into the mix.

Superman's present status has been essentially cemented for almost 2 DECADES now!

It is the refusal by others to accept this evidence that is the issue NOT the canon itself.
Shut up.

WATCH YOUR TONE YOU RABID, REPROBATE, ANIMAL!!!

Maybe. I'm not discounting the possibility that there was some physical effect. But permanently doubling the power of a major hero and having that stick would be huge. It's gonna take more than suggestions to make me believe that, as it should.

I said it will be so.

THAT IS ENOUGH!!!

Explain specifically what this proves and why?

When Superman did the following.

1. Bench-press the Earth for 5 days straight.
2. Rip Doomsday in half.
3. Move a spaceship the size of Jupiter
4. Travel at light speed in seconds

He was WEAKENED.

Now that he has been reformed he is clearly augmented.

Blue Marvel AND your puny Banner stand NO CHANCE against the Man of Steel!

The weakness caused by having your inner essence split is more of a spiritual weakness as opposed to a physical weakness. When Thor is split from Jake Olsen, his weakening allows him to be more prone to becoming a tyrant.  It doesn't physically weaken him.

If New52 Superman is weaker that pre-New52, that would mean that New52 Doomsday is a weaker version and that the other feats are lesser.  But all of the Superfanboys argued that New52 is more powerful than post crisis Superman who should have been whole and Abhi argued that he is twice as strong.  So you guys are all over the place.

Thus, nothing is proven.  Hulk crushes puny Kryptonian.

"Spiritual weakness"

DEMONIC, GAMMITE, FRAUD!!!!

It doesn't really matter who was first, it matters who became the established benchmark. The idea of enhancing natural attributes (speed, strength, durability, senses) and then adding flying is a pretty basic idea. It does cover a lot of ground, but that's just how it is.
If you have a ring or bracers that make constructs and toss around energy, you are a GL clone.

If you are a big, strong monster who can get stronger as you rage (or something like that) you are a Hulk analogue.

If you are super fast and rely on running, you are a Flash analogue.

It's not really that big a deal. It doesn't necessarily diminish you as a character.
So Grundy is a  Hulk clone? Gtfo.

Grundy predates Hulk by over 2 decades.

How could he possibly be a Hulk clone?
You clearly didn't understand what I was saying. O ised Grundy because he predates Hulk.

Forget this minor distraction.

Where is your APOLOGY for claiming that Blue Marvel defeats Superman?

I showed you the evidence which proves your folly!
I saw no evidence that Superman wins. If Blue  an KO Sentry and Hyperion he can beat Superman.

Here is the evidence again,

To the HERETICS known as FANGIRL and QUANCHI( The Internet Avatar of Failure and Cowardice) I present the following

INDISPUTABLE EVIDENCE THAT SUPERMAN ANNIHILATES BLUE MARVEL!!!!

I expect BOTH your CONCESSIONS and APOLOGIES within 24hrs!!
