ICT / Re: God mode Thor vs God mode Wonder Woman Live action battle.

Justice League spoilers!

Strongly doubt he was soaking up solar rays buried underground.

I got the impression they may have originally intended for Wonder Woman to be closer to Superman during her debut in ‘Dawn of Justice’. Perhaps not peers in every stat, but more like how she’s often portrayed in today’s comics(no flight, but better combat skills and so on). I honestly don’t remember too much that distinctly separated them on sheer attribute, but then again I haven’t watched the fight dozens of times frame by frame, so I could be missing something. I do recall the producer saying that they wanted to keep some of it vague so it can have a bigger spotlight on her then yet-unreleased film.

With ‘Justice League’, the combination of Whedon replacing Goyer and the narrrative focus on Clark’s absence and his importance to the world could have been the driving role behind his performance and perhaps Wonder Woman’s showings as well. His comeback scene wouldn’t have been as effective if he didn’t have that big, vital moment that the others couldn’t replicate, and there’s Whedon’s personal take on her powers as well as any impact Wondy’s script may have had during the development on this film. Sure, that was her early days and I’m certain it was said her power would grow over time as she learned more about it, but it’s also possible that wasn’t taken into consideration or wasn’t treated as a big jump despite her first showing. I wouldn’t be surprised if things ended up looking more balanced in the next movie, or if Hal, Shazam or whomever they’re spotlighting at the time gets the best display of power.

Hah, that Next Generation man-skirt is actually available for free on Trek Online because of the recent Next Gen anniversary.

The first two episodes of Discovery were better than I honestly expected. There were things here and there that bugged me as a fan, but I'm cautiously looking forward to the rest of the season.

Spider-Man 2
Blade 2
Captain America: Winter Soldier
Hellboy 2: The Golden Army
The Dark Knight

Bateman Returns as a close contender on the list. Also, wow, I guess I really, really like comic book movie sequels.

I didn't think I'd like it, but I actually found it entertaining. I haven't seen the series in probably over half a decade prior to this, so that could have helped. Had some issues with a few things, like the ending and the bigger romance focus, but overall I liked it.

Loved it, but not something I can see myself watching often. Unless I'm way too happy and need to suddenly get depressed for some reason.

Sad but to be honest I thought he died years ago.

Damn, same here.

The only chance Mike has is if he's facing Jason from earlier in his career. Even the new version of Mike would get crushed by any Jason from the Cory Feldman era and forward

I think Michael still has a shot with Jason from the Feldman film. The reboot Myers in particular had a ferocity that might compensate for what little stat advantage Jason had at the time. He'd have to earn all the wins, but he's got a chance. Once that lightning hits, though? Vorhees can arguably one shot his opponent.

Certainly wasn't the best, especially with the potential of Byrne and Clairemont teaming up on writing duty.

No question there. While Jason's strength fluctuates after he becomes a reanimated super-corpse, he's still pretty comfortably in the inhuman scale, not to mention that massive damage soak increase.

I'm not as big into the Halloween movies, but Myers has shown his share of peak human stats too, has he not? Just not to The extent that Vorhees has from what I recall.

The reboot versions of both characters or Jason from the second to fourth film would be a more decent match. Anything from six on up just has him as a legitimate superhuman at that point.

He used Deadshot and Black Adam for the tourney.

Two minutes in Heaven is better than one minute in Heaven.

Back during Dawn of Justice's release, Snyder mentioned that she could jump extremely high where she's "practically flying", so I wouldn't call it true flight. I imagine it's not too dissimilar from How Jessica Jones's 'flight' was described in her series. If anything, we'll know more come November.

Better than the first, I think.

Newest episode had a couple of...sudden character shifts that made me feel as though I skipped an episode.
Regardless, I'm really enjoying this season so far.
