Better than the first, I think.

Newest episode had a couple of...sudden character shifts that made me feel as though I skipped an episode.
Regardless, I'm really enjoying this season so far.

How's the replay value?

Edit: Oh, nvm. I just saw an article about this.
I've never seen 'Dope' so I'm not sure if I should be excited.

As a side note, there have also been more rumors of shakeups in Warner Brothers given the reception of BvS. The Chief Producer along with the Marketing and Distributor are supposedly on shaky grounds, with their positions probably depending on how Suicide Squad fares.

I love the movie. Even enjoyed the ones that followed after, though I don't recall that prequel one and I never finished the last one. Was excited to hear of a new one being made with Bacon csupposedly oming back.

A little disappointed with that ending, but it was going to be hardto match up to the first season's build up. On a plus side, the 'NO WAY' factor was there, as opposed to Arrow's very disappointing finale.
Seeing the original FLash actor in a Jay costume was pretty damn awesome, too.

Anyone had a chance to play this? Thoughts?

Really fun game, but with some flaws that keep it from being my favorite in the series(that honor belongs to the second one).

Combat feels better than the other games, though it was bothersome how the first enenmies you kill in the present day were just hired security.
It feels like they added a ton more climbing in this game than before, and it shows off the beautiful character animation; unfortunately, I never really thought the climbing added much tension to the game since it feltreally hard to screw up outside of a few occasions here and there.

Definitely felt much more grounded than the previous games, which made it a little bit underwhelming. This applies to the set pieces in the game as well. The jeep chase was shown off months before, and that ended up being the best one. Nothing really struck me as hitting the high notes of fighting on a cargo plane, escaping from a sinking cruise ship, gunsifights on a train and so on. Again, more grounded, but a bit of a disappointment.

Storywise, it was satisfying. Bittersweet end to anyone following the game from the start. Missed seeing Chloe though, plus I didn't feel like the character of Sam really connected all that well.

Oh, and the game's ridiculously beautiful. Seriously  one of the technically sharpest games out there. The level of care and details put into the visuals in this game is ridiculous.

Waiting for the price to drop a bit lower before I pick this up. Been told it didn't have the polish of Devastation, though the coop is a huge plus.

ICT / Re: DCEU Superman vs X-Verse Quicksilver (SPOILERS)

Given that Smallville is just on the edge of MoS Superman's hearing range from Metropolis, I figured he was already making his way back to Metropolis by the time Lois was falling rather than hearing it from the Antarctic and flying there in moments.

As for the match, I'd go with a stalemate. Quicksilver is ridiculously faster than Clark, but I don't know if there's anything that can be done to put Superman down for the count. Maybe if a sharp object was rammed at super speed into his eye or something, but that strikes me as out of character.

ICT / Re: Burt (Tremors) vs Ash (Evil Dead)

1) Burt
2) Ash
3) Hm...Ash, probably.
4) Outside of being possessed, Burt would actually do well in a Deadite scenario given all his supplies. Graboids are a little harder to deal with given Ash's standard equipment.

Those little hominh balls that release gas and that auto-reviving med station are my favorites.

Game lost steam with me real quickly though. Hope they release those raid content soon.

Seeing Morgan as Negan was great. The guy was amazing. The tension was crazy. But then...that ending. This was the first episode of Walking Dead I've seen in years and it was unsatisfying enough to make me not give it another shot for another while.

For me, it's not so much "too much action" as it was spacing it out, both for Man of Steel and Dawn of Justice. With so mcuh continuous action, I couldn't help but become disinterested when the film's final, big fight is finally taking place.
Plus of all the time for Snyder to drop his usage of slow motion, doing it at a Superman film was probably one thing I was sad about. The superhuman fights in MoS and BvS weren't hard to follow, but I found myself having a hard time getting too invested in it sometimes at the pace it was going.

I don't think you can start off saying that you look at 'context, meaning and what the movie showed' and then, halfway through, heavily imply that MoS Superman is in the same level of power as Routh-Supes. There's just WAY too much saying otherwise, both in the film and behind the scenes, and if you continue to want to believe that this version is limitless based on what seems to be faith, wishful thinking and intense love of the character, then there's no point in arguing. We've seen MoS/BvS Superman get overwhelmed.  We've had the movie's director and other creators involved explaining his limits and the importance of making him beatable. It's hard to get any clearer. And while I completely understand having intense passion for these characters, there's just a point where someone can come off as almost...dillusional.

You really, really, really like Superman. I get that. But this version is highly unlikely to be as limitless as you want to believe. He's probably not getting a power boost in the eighteen month difference between his movie appearances either. But there's no need to have to believe that. He's already arguably the most powerful comic book movie hero we have from the DCEU and MCU- there's no need to try and push him up even farther as something he's probably not.

Agreed. Even with all its inconsistencies and typical CW drama, the mix of fan service and pure fun factor makes this one of the very few shows I'll actually try to keep up with.
Compare that to Arrow, which I used to really enjoy but am now two episodes behind with and it feels like a chore thinking about catching up just because of the Felicity drama and such.

Yeah, regardless what I think of his directorial abilities, I really appreciated the detail he put into that. Always wished they had more details of that released just for the heck of it.
This painstaking attention to these things also happens to be why I think this version of Supes won't suddenly be lifingt his power limitations despite basic statements for him to 'test his limits" and the hard wishes of fellow Superman fans. It just stamples on all the power consistency he's worked on.

I wonder if we'll get insights on the other League members as the movie comes closer to development.
