Apparently it's just a fan film.

The last experiment confirmed the curvature too.

I thought they had to give up on the last experiment as they couldn't fine tune the laser pointer over the distance they wanted..?

Yeah every time one of them got confronted with a flaw in their beliefs they just locked up and it was both sad and hilarious.

It was cringe worthy at the NASA museum...Sargeant's pushing the "start" icon on the simulation screen & boasts how it's broken or fake then the camera zooms down at the obvious Start Button right next to his seat.

I laughed at the classic deflection from Sergeant at the convention. The kid asks him how high the dome is over flat Earth & rather than answer the question, Sergeant conveniently pulls out a letter of praise to read to the crowd.

The last experiment they changed from a laser pointer to a flash light, and the posts to large sheets of plywood with holes cut out in them. The guy told him to hold the flashlight at about chest level and if the Earth was flat he would be able to see the light. If not, then to hold the light up, and if he saw the light, it would prove the Earth was curved. He starts with the light at chest level and the guy receiving keeps asking are you doing it, are you doing it, because he can't see it. Then says, alright hold it above your head, and sure enough the light comes into view. He just says interesting and it cuts to the credits.

So there is a dude in the flat Earth doc who makes these beautiful flat Earth models who looks like it might be letters but he seems too nice.

This doc is really good. I think it's as even handed you can get with that crowd without giving them the validity they don't deserve.

I found the doc disappointing as it focussed more on the eccentricities of the flat Earthers themselves rather than their logic.

I liked how that one guy's experiment with the spinning top actually proved the earth was round & he told his fellow Flat Earther not to tell anyone else....on camera.

Other all the doc just focused on their social activities & the fact that there was individuals making a profit thru merchandise.

The last experiment confirmed the curvature too.

I also liked how the one lady was referencing all the conspiracies about her, and how people can become crazy and believe these things, then she pauses and wonders if she's doing the same thing, but then says nah, I'm to smart for that.

And then when they ask Mike Seargent about the world and community he's built up around himself, that if he found evidence of the curvature, how could he leave all that, and he basically says he couldn't.

I wasn't to fond of it, but I don't like bio pics much to begin with. Always seems like a bunch of stuff is skipped or rushed. Also a bunch of the stuff just seemed to be wrong.

‘I really wanted this series to push readers to new and better stories about the whole queer experience and how it applies to being both a mutant and a superhero,’ Sina told The Advocate.

This nuanced take on the X-Men is EXACTLY what I’ve been waiting for. I predict this will be Marvel’s most popular character in years. This will sell dozens of issues.

Dozens?!! I better rush out and get my copy quick then.

We got more back this year.

And speaking of, I know it's not finished, but I'm not liking Heroes in Crisis at all. It's just boring to me.

Yes, I agree with Heroes in Crisis. It's so boring, and nothing happens at all. The majority of the pages are just talking heads doing their therapy sessions.

Looks like a bitstrip comic where the pictures are just put on a generic background.

I would much more prefer the detective side of it. The last several years Batman and his crew have used way to much gadgets, it's almost like they're Iron Man light. I prefer the year one style where he goes out and does it all or mostly on his own.

Obviously he was weakened from those Doom Blasts. ;)

I got the first issue; it's not bad. I'll stick with it a bit.

I really loved Johns' TT run, so that will stink if it is being completely overwritten.

I loved Young Justice and then John's Teen Titans. I really hope this series follows both of them in style and quality.

I'm not terribly familiar with tax code, but don't some businesses file taxes as personal income

Current TV Shows / Re: The Punisher Season 2 Episodes 10-13

Yeah basically exactly that.

Pretty disappointed, nowhere near season 1 level and a million miles from peak Daredevil quality. Fight scenes were good but I never felt that engaged with either storyline. Acting was good but I didn't like the characterisation of most of them, especially Frank.

We've had 2 seasons of him umm'ing and ahh'ing about embracing the Punisher gig, did we really need a third one? Would have been nice to get more than 10 seconds of him in full Punisher mode knowing we won't be getting another series.

Looking back he got progressively less and less Punisher-y with each new series. DD2 he was waging a concerted, military precision war on organised crime groups, and killing individual criminals as the opportunities arose (the guy offering him underage porn). At the end he turned his back on Karen (representing his humanity), painted the skull and seemed ready to go to war. Punisher S1 undid most of that and really in the two solo series the only guys he went after were purely personal crusades, people that he was connected to or came after him. Seemed like a fairly illogical leap to go from that to the final scene with him targeting unrelated crime groups (though it would have fit the end of DD2).

I liked Bernthal's portrayal of an early Frank Castle, the action scenes were brutal and great, but reflecting back on the three series as a whole this feels like a missed opportunity.

This is pretty much how I feel. I think Berenthal is the best Punisher so far, but it feels like it wan't full Punisher. His DD appearance was much more on par with that. And when it comes to taking out criminals, you're right. Everyone he went against was already coming after him. Russo's men had more of a war on crime then he did at that point.
