I'm actually curious. I've always liked the little backstory flashbacks in The Killing Joke, so a movie that fleshes that out is interesting to me.

It pretty much lost it's identity once Disney ate it. It managed to create a few good movies while Disney digested it, but it really hasn't had a distinct identity in a long time now.

True, but then again they could do her 70's Hulk style: get a female bodybuilder to play She-Hulk.

It looks like a good representation of pre-Joker, the guy who was going to rob a chemical plant to save his wife. The part where he's actually in make-up is meh, but then it's presumably just a very early experiment.

Why is it so hard to believe she hasn't aged in twenty years?

It's not at all and there's a huge chance you're right. I don't really have any evidence to support my theory, it's more conjecture than anything.

I'm just assuming. I think marvel tries very hard to make characters empathetic and relatable. The idea that a woman is just ideal looking and hasn't aged at all but now that she's in the MCU, shes gonna age progressively. Would be hard for me to buy that she didn't age at all in 20 years but then she ages in 5 years (since the actress is human and will age like everybody else). Her as a prisoner breaking out would show pain, struggle, triumph, and automatically explain her absence and why she hasn't changed.

But that doesn't answer the question why Nick Fury believes he could summon her the way he did. Her just fighting an intergalactic war is a huge possibility.

Eh, you could say the same thing about Thor and Loki, and I've never found it to be a problem. People just accept that actors have limits and let it slide. Hell, True Blood lasted 7 seasons, so you can binge it and watch the actors age before your eyes, yet I've never found it to be game-breaking. We all know even the best fiction is fiction, yet this doesn't stop us from becoming emotionally invested.

VD vamps are way, wayyyy too fast for Buffypires, and heal much faster as well. Whereas Buffypires seem to need hours to heal minor injuries, and a day or more to heal serious injuries, VD vamps heal most injuries in a second or two. The odd exception seems to be a neck-snap, which takes as-long-as-the-plot-requires, but seems to average about an hour. I don't see Spike being fast enough to manage a neck-snap.
