It's evidently that time of the year again where Steph and Hunter feel the need to put themselves over and hog the spotlight again. It's gonna be a long, cold winter.

Talk about a textbook failure in booking, jobbing out four of your biggest ring stars so early on so the old-timers could fart about in the ring. I guess it's nice that Balor contributed to Cena's elimination...woulda been even better had he been the one to do so. Angle getting the pin on Cena nets no significant gains; Balor getting the W would've actually meant something.

Rolling for initiative requires math, that should tell you right there that science and magic are linked.

Btw, in all the Michael Bay CGI Expo, that I got lost through the flash and bangs... what was the reason why Growlingwolf wanted to destroy the Earth?
There was something about creating a hyperspace bypass and Earth was in the way.

The pesky backwater Earth natives were obstructing Darkseid's plans for a cosmic Keystone Pipeline, if you will.

Tldr: Kremlins top propaganda guy spins Hollywood sex scandals as a campaign to destroy sex in the US. So if Putin is one of the people fighting against the Elites and Illuminati then why are his people defending Hollywood?

Putin tink women need to how you say chill out.

Lost Girl - Newt

Following the events of Aliens II, the ship carrying Newt and fellow survivors Hicks, Ripley, and Bishop is swallowed by a rip in the spacetime-continuum, transporting them to some strange reality that is both unfamiliar yet hauntingly similar in ways. Newt wakes up unscathed yet alone. The fate of her companions is unknown. So begins her quest to reclaim her newfound family.

Toto - Ein

Like Rex, Ein was the product of intelligence-boosting research which granted the diminutive yet daring Corgi with genius-level intellect. As far as anyone else is aware, he simply comes across as an unusually clever but otherwise normal dog. Ein is content to leave it that way. Separated from his owner/friend Edd due to similar mysterious circumstances, he and Newt form a quick attachment. By far the smartest member of the team, his elite hacking skills come in rather handy when putting to use any tech the team stumble upon....not that any of them ever notice.

Cowardly Lion - Rex

This Rex is from another level of of the Dark Tower, so he's a life-sized flesh n blood T-rex. Gained intelligence after being experimented on by some quirky old scientist who was testing out something called Brain-Grain or something. Can't say he's unhappy with his new bent on life, but still struggles with a range of identity issues and bouts of loneliness owing to his freak nature. Fortunately, his forthcoming good nature is what helps Newt to open up once again after suffering perhaps the second most traumatizing event in her short life.

Tin Man - Edward Scissorhands

The artificial human who wants to know what love is and wants someone to show him. A pair of normal looking human hands also wouldn't hurt. This iteration of Edward apparently lived through a similar series of events as the movie version, but it's hard to say. Edward is as awkward as ever in social setting, and his seeming reluctance in engaging in such activity hints at a lifetime of heartbreaking encounters. And yet he cannot refuse Newt's request to help her on her journey to meet the wizard Zardoz.

Scarecrow - Jack Skellington

Like many of his multiversal counterparts, the Pumpkin King of this bizarre reality finds himself in the midst of a midlife crisis. Feeling unfulfilled, bereft of purpose, and just flat out bored, the patron hero of Halloween's got an itch he can't seem to scratch, a void in he can't seem to fill; something's missing in his life. And so Jack came to a fanciful conclusion: if he only had a brain, he'd naturally be able to find the inspiration he's lacking at present. Thus, Jack ventures off a mission which ultimately leads him to cross paths with Newt and Co.

Current TV Shows / The Mist
« on: October 31, 2017, 09:41:13 AM »
Just a few episodes in, some glaring plot contrivances so far. Looks like they're straying from the original plot somewhat, so I'm curious to see where they go with it at least.

They seem to be slowly building up to the dangers of the mist, which is understandable. I was worried the writers were gonna cop-out for budgetary reasons by limiting the threats to hallucinations and killer insects, but the MOTHMAN REVELATION instilled some hope in me, like it did that one insane hippy woman haha. Holding out hope for tentacle monster action.

This is not a debate thread guys.
So in the bottom panel of the double wide spread you don't think Flash is transferring his speed to Superman which is giving him that gold aura? Then what do you think is happening there?
Barry hasn't learned how to transfer his speed in this continuity.

That isn't supported by dialog either. If Flash could just transfer the speed into him, there would be no need of a race and flash "needing" Superman to win.

You are not a very smart fellow, sir. There is no other way to put it.
