I like the show in general and I’ll keep watching, but the TNG style of preachiness is getting a little heavy.

The on purpose for publicity thing makes sense. This may sound like a joke, but when was the last time you heard Katy Perry’s name connected with something good?
She get’s more mentions for doing something stupid on Sesame Street or this shoe thing than she has for her music for a while now.  Hell, I only became aware of her from the song “I kissed a girl”. A bid for attention if ever there was one.
Perry is a mediocre singer, she doesn’t write songs very well, all she’s got is the chance to draw a crowd by doing something crazy.  Lady Gaga used to be in the same boat before she went out of her way to show she had real talent.

I don’t know if she’s guilty of racism, bad taste, or just being stupid.

   Aren’t they the same thing?

I’m admittedly a huge fan of Whedon, but he did a great job on Avengers.  I can’t see why he wouldn’t do the same with Justice League.

Movie Cap could beat TV Hulk.

The “H” in SHAZAM is for the strength of Hercules, so the big red cheese must be as strong as Herc.  Add in the other powers and Captain Marvel should take the day.

  “Canabalistic”?   O.K. that’s an opinion.

Picard is an explorer and diplomat. Kirk is the Captain you want when the phasers are hot.

I appreciate all the work done, but I’ve got a question about the rules.  The title at the top said “Live Action Movie characters” but there’s a lot of TV folks in here too. Is that allowed?

Forgive my ignorance but is there really a demand for Tom and Jerry still?

There’s a demand for anything done well.

Hank also prepped up the neural shutdown device to slap on Dark Phoenix’s head during the Central Park fight before the team got beamed up to the Shiar ship during the first Dark Phoenix saga.
It didn’t help much, but he did build it beforehand.

Some change might be alright, but they should stay pretty much silent. Just the cat vs. mouse thing can get pretty repetitive. Maybe some outsider character coming into the house that makes T & J have to join forces.
Disney has done some new Mickey Mouse shorts like you describe that turned out awful. Changing something classic just for the sake of change instead of a clear idea about a new direction seldom works out well.

They should do an Extreme Ghostbuster and just have Ray as the last ghostbuster, new threat, and he trains some newbies.

I think that was more or less the idea for the version that was supposed to have Eliza Dushku.
