......About the Unemployment Rate being 40%?

One mildly amusing statement if your as geeky as me is when they mention "Jobs haven't risen back up to Pre-Crisis levels...."

General Chat / Trump would have done better as woman.
« on: March 12, 2017, 01:02:14 AM »

This was originally put together to show the privilege men have as politicians and specifically Trump over Clinton.

Ironically enough it turned out to show the opposite.

If the genders had been reversed, Trump would seem to have won by even more.

When the audiences got explained what the scenario was; liberal democratic-men broke down crying saying "Oh Lord, now I see why Trump won.....".

The female Trump was described as "That Jewish Aunt you have, that you don't agree with or Like but know she has your best interests at heart".

Male Clinton was described as "punch-able".

Basically it goes over the problem with crime machines.

ICT / Li Sung (Ferrigno-Hulk show) vs Daredevil (Netflix)
« on: March 07, 2017, 03:31:58 AM »

Relevant part starts around 3 minutes in for Li Sung.

Here's some stuff from the episode for the main bad guy:

Punches a bust hard enough to decapitate it.  Around 25 and a half minutes into the episode.

Beats a guy in a fight....around 18 minutes into it.

Both are in normal clothes for this fight while using their respective walking sticks.

Just thinking out side of God's what actually were the most powerful groups or people?  Including one shot characters/races etc.....

Basically not including God-like Entities, though if you can make an argument that aside from portrayal most of the other races could reasonably give them problems or defeat them I suppose you can throw them in if you want.

It can be entire empires or even just individuals ala The Last Guardian of the Tkon Empire.

Currently extinct groups can be included as well.

The Borg would obviously be in here somewhere I imagine.

Maybe the Voth from Voyager.

You could even go for "most powerful" in the sense of individual stats more than technology or territory etc.....

ICT / Narada vs A Borg Cube
« on: February 23, 2017, 05:46:57 PM »
Inspired by this more or less:

1.  Narada--http://memory-alpha.wikia.com/wiki/Narada
Despite being only a mining vessel in its own time, the Narada possessed weaponry far more advanced than that of any ships it encountered in the 23rd century. The primary weapons seemed to be highly destructive missiles, each of which could break into several component projectiles. These projectiles were powerful enough to penetrate the standard shielding which starships of the time utilized. The Narada housed at least enough of these weapons to easily destroy entire fleets of ships; more than fifty vessels were destroyed over twenty-five years.
As a mining vessel, the Narada also had an immense drilling apparatus, which was a platform at the end of a lengthy boom seemingly hundreds of kilometers long. The drill emitted a powerful beam that could penetrate a planet's surface and continue all the way to its core. The high energy output from the beam itself also acted as a disruptor of sorts, causing localized interference in communications and transportersignals.

It seems like The Narada is almost custom made to take down a borg cube, it has a bunch of missiles which presumably could just go straight through the borg's force field.

The drill itself can just jump right up in there and then let loose with it's beam past the force field as well which also disrupts communication and teleportation.

Could it disrupt how the Borg communicate with one another and maintain their hive mentality?

So could a Narada take down a borg cube and if so how many?

ICT / Captain America vs Nemesis Kid
« on: February 10, 2017, 10:09:52 PM »
Though with a twist.

Remember that scene where Nemesis kid gains greater skill than Karate Kid?

How well would Cap have done in a similar scenario taking this into consideration?

ICT / (Nods to Halloween Jack) Angels (Supernatural) vs Gods (H:TLJ)
« on: February 09, 2017, 02:45:17 AM »
How well do all the Angels of Supernatural do against all the divine beings of the Hercules:  Legendary Journey's series?  I guess you can throw in one's that appeared on Xena but didn't appear on the Hercules as well.

This only applies to entities or gods/angels that we have any real knowledge about.  Not limited to just the one's in the picture.  If they have some generic foot soldiers and you want to include them as a general group, going ahead I guess presuming you know enough about them to make a go at their general abilities and weapons etc.....
