Debate / Dwayne Johnson running for Prez. Good or bad?
« on: July 12, 2017, 10:43:03 PM »

I am not excited about a possibly emerging trend of just throwing any famous face at the White House to see who sticks. Johnson seems like a nice guy but I need to see what his views are first before I consider him for any office.

Marvel Zombies / Favorite X-Men team uniform

This isn't a thread for individual member costumes but for the various team uniforms the x-folk bust out every now and then.  Also, which sort of look do you like?  The one where almost every member has the exact same costume or the one where the team has a certain unified look while having slightly different designs for each member?  And yeah, if I missed any, post them.

So there's a cafe' in Switzerland that will give out BJ's with their coffees.

Geneva to get 'café fellatio' by end of year

A firm in Geneva plans to open a café where customers can enjoy oral sex while they sip their morning coffee. Not everyone is happy with the idea.
The idea for the sex café has been brewing for several months, Bradley Charvet of the Geneva firm Facegirl told Geneva’s Le Matin newspaper recently.

Modelled on similar establishments in Thailand, the proposed Geneva café would add a new dimension to the sex trade in the city of the protestant reformer Calvin.

Put simply, the business model would see men ordering a coffee and using an iPad to select a prostitute they want to perform oral sex on them. They would then sit at the bar.

“In five or ten minutes, it’s all over,” Charvet explained to Le Matin.

At 60 Swiss francs (€55), with a possible five-franc surplus for a latte macchiato the ‘coffee’ would be the most expensive in Geneva.

It would, however -- in theory at least – be perfectly within the bounds of the law. Prostitution is legal in Switzerland although it is strictly controlled, with sex trade workers required to have valid permits as part of a bid to fight people trafficking.

In cases where two or more prostitutes operate out of the same premises, the establishment has to be registered as a massage parlour. In 2015, 33 of these parlours were shut down in Geneva for not following the rules, according to France’s Le Monde newspaper.

Geneva’s Department for Security and the Economy are now looking at the café plans.

Not everyone is happy with the idea though. Grégoire Théry of France’s anti-prostitution group Mouvement du Nid told French newspaper L'Express the idea for a café serving up oral sex would only benefit the men behind the business.

The business idea would, in effect, legalize pimping, he said.

ICT / Create an Alignment Team
« on: June 20, 2017, 12:14:00 AM »
Going by the D&D alignments, pick one person from any medium who fits:

Lawful good
A lawful good character typically acts with compassion and always with honor and a sense of duty.

Neutral good
A neutral good character typically acts altruistically, without regard for or against lawful precepts such as rules or tradition. A neutral good character has no problems with cooperating with lawful officials, but does not feel beholden to them. In the event that doing the right thing requires the bending or breaking of rules, they do not suffer the same inner conflict that a lawful good character would.

Chaotic good
A chaotic good character does what is necessary to bring about change for the better, disdains bureaucratic organizations that get in the way of social improvement, and places a high value on personal freedom, not only for oneself, but for others as well. Chaotic good characters usually intend to do the right thing, but their methods are generally disorganized and often out of sync with the rest of society.

Lawful neutral
A lawful neutral character typically believes strongly in lawful concepts such as honor, order, rules, and tradition, and often follows a personal code.[9] Examples of lawful neutral characters include a soldier who always follows orders, a judge or enforcer that adheres mercilessly to the word of the law, and a disciplined monk.

A neutral character (a.k.a. true neutral) is neutral on both axes and tends not to feel strongly towards any alignment, or actively seeks their balance.

Chaotic neutral
A chaotic neutral character is an individualist who follows their own heart and generally shirks rules and traditions. Although chaotic neutral characters promote the ideals of freedom, it is their own freedom that comes first; good and evil come second to their need to be free.

Lawful evil
A lawful evil character sees a well-ordered system as being easier to exploit and shows a combination of desirable and undesirable traits. Examples of this alignment include tyrants, devils, and undiscriminating mercenary types who have a strict code of conduct.

Neutral evil
A neutral evil character is typically selfish and has no qualms about turning on allies-of-the-moment, and usually makes allies primarily to further their own goals. A neutral evil character has no compunctions about harming others to get what they want, but neither will they go out of their way to cause carnage or mayhem when they see no direct benefit for themselves.

Chaotic evil
A chaotic evil character tends to have no respect for rules, other people's lives, or anything but their own desires, which are typically selfish and cruel. They set a high value on personal freedom, but do not have much regard for the lives or freedom of other people.

The sequel to 300 wasn't as popular, but I thought it was fun.  This is the main dude in 300: Rise of an Empire.
