If the Shazam/Captain Marvel movie isn't fairly light-hearted and funny, something is seriously wrong.

I'm not saying Billy Batson's story can't have serious moments and real drama. But in the end, perhaps more than any other superhero, this one is a child's fantasy.

Can we just get a second season to the 2011 version instead?

I think there was a second season. But it needed a third.

Yeah thats the one.
Not sure how disasterous it was, but it bored the piss out of me.

Not disastrous at all! It's my favorite Avengers story ever.

^^^Kang Dynasty.
If thats what i’m thinking of, i didnt like it.

The year-and-a-half-long story in Avengers where Kang took over the world.

I didn't like the start of Jurgens's Thor,

I'm genuinely curious as to why? Not saying you are necessarily right or wrong - not everyone likes every book after all.

I didn't like his treatment of my namesake. He continued the trend begun in Ka-Zar of undoing Thanos's post-IG character development and taking him back to his days of conquest and stellar genocide.

The whole Jake Olson thing. I personally feel Thor had long since moved past the "turn into a mortal" idea. (Doesn't mean he can't have a mortal identity, like Sigurd Jarlson that Simonson came up with, but without actually being mortal.)

but I quite enjoyed The Reigning, myself.

The idea of the Reigning was fantastically refreshing (its very rare for the Thor title to touch on real world religious issues) BUT I agree with Kallor in that it went on too long.

Actually, I would have been fine with it going even longer. But then, I am the guy who loved Busiek's Kang Dynasty. :)

Ya know I honestly want a Hercules movie, but they'd have to be careful so as to not make it Thor-lite ya know?

Yeah, the problem is, Hercules has always sort of been "funnier, sillier Thor," but between Ragnarok and Infinity War, Thor himself has that ground covered pretty well right now.

-Eternity
-Death
-Entrophy
-Infinity

Tangentially, I'm still trying to figure out why they went with Entropy instead of the traditional fourth, Oblivion.

“Avengers: Infinity War” climaxes with a snap, and a white flash, as Thanos finally achieves his goal of eliminating half of all life in the universe. It’s quickly become an iconic moment, but the visual effects team behind the film originally wanted to include a deep cut Marvel Comics Easter egg that would have tied the scene back to an equally iconic moment in the source material.

Kelly Port, VFX Supervisor at Digital Domain, told TheWrap the team wanted to insert a graphic of Thanos’ finger-snap as it played out in the 1991 Marvel miniseries “Infinity Gauntlet,” on which “Infinity War” is loosely based. Meaning that in the moment Thanos snapped his fingers together, the word “snap!” would’ve actually appeared on movie screens for a split second.

“As a fun aside, we explored the idea of lifting the actual graphic from the frame of the comic showing the snap, the little yellow action triangles for a single frame of the moment of the snap. They appreciated the idea but didn’t ultimately go for it.”

Yeah, I can't stand that character type either. Once my college roommate made me watch a romance anime where the female lead was that type of character. By the end of the series I wanted to punch a hole through the screen.

So they took an interesting inspiration for the relationship between Stark and Strange: Frasier!

http://comicbook.com/marvel/2018/05/06/avengers-infinity-war-iron-man-doctor-strange-screenwriters-frasier-influence/

Quote
"Frasier was influential in our decision to put Stark and Strange together," McFeely reveals.

The character originated on sitcom Cheers before being spun off into his own series, which subverted expectations by almost always partnering Frasier with his OCD-ridden and even more eccentric brother Niles.

"So you're gonna do a spinoff of this character, and you're gonna give him a family, you're gonna give him a brother. And most people would say, 'let's give him a blue collar brother, and so we're gonna get the opposite,'" McFeely says. "But they didn't do that."

Instead, the writers gave the pontifical radio personality a brother who is "even more like Frasier than Frasier," Markus says.

"That made Frasier a little cooler by comparison," McFeely explains. "And the sparks and the dialogue as a result is high, it's pitched, it's smart."

"And it gives Frasier the opportunity to go, 'Wow, I must be really annoying,'" Markus adds.

"And to take Tony and Dr. Strange who are quite similar — they both have goatees, they're both arrogant — the impulse might be, 'well, let's keep them separate, because they occupy the same space and everyone will get their own arrogant goatee man.' But to put them together, one, is funny, and their powers are totally different. But also it helps, again, it helps Tony go, 'arrogant people are really annoying. I'm arrogant, huh.' This is how we become better people in life."

One of the best things about him is that you can tell he's having fun playing Thor.

Mark Ruffalo was fucking annoying. He almost ruined the most badass moment in the movie. When Thor, Rocket and Groot touched down in Wakanda. When he yelled "You guys are so screwed now!" I genuinely prayed for his death irl.

Really? I loved that.
