Wow Taskmaster actually had Cap dead to rights

Never seen that fight before

He had a pretty good advantage on him during Siege too I would say. Taskmaster is often underestimated due to some his embarrassing performances. But he's no Rhino, overall he has plenty of wins and plenty of great moments.
Taskmaster could easily be in the Marvel what DS is in the DC universe, problem is that he's somewhat a one dimensional character.

I made a mistake(using an old tablet) with that fight, here the missing scans.

They had also another fight in the past, inconclusive because of Power Pack intervention.

Now I have to defend Cap, even if the old bastard :'( won against DS.
Even if in last scans Cap has the surprise as advantage he was able turn the table.

DD has a win for Ko over Cap, it could be said this was also due to the fact DD could "read" enemy movements and anticipate them.
There's to say DD wasnt at his best here.

They're fighting in the dark--Daredevil cut off the lights in the mansion before those pages, which is why Beast and Cap couldn't identify who they were tussling with even while directly engaging him, and partly why they were overwhelmed. It's not like anyone should use those examples to prove DD is an Avengers wrecking threat.

OTOH, unlike abhi's usual ridiculous examples, that's actually one fair citation of Cap getting KO'ed (or at least dazed) by a human street leveler, so fair play.
No, I wasnt saying DD is a team wrecker as much as I hardly would use DS vs JL scans, I didnt even put them in DS respect thread for that reason.

It was just to say everyone has bad moments.
Taskmaster trashed Cap first time they did meet.

Yeah WW's skill(coupled with a more reflective mindset)  is almost her trademark as much as a more impulsive and more brutal attitude is for Thor.

It's sad Marvel doesnt really try to make Hercules be some kind of WW counterpart, a tactical and skilled fighter able to fight people with more raw power than him.

Deathstroke says Batman is stronger than him? WTF?
Batman is wearing special gauntlets here, Deathstroke ask him if these gauntlets make Bat fast as him.
As you can see Bat is smashing concrete with his punches.

In their first fight, when Bat wasnt wearing this stuff DS said to be both faster and stronger.

Anybody been reading to see how Slade's benndoing in the current arc vs Batman?

They have had 3 fights in the whole 6 issue.
In the first one Batman assaults DS, the fight is inconclusive, DS says he's both stronger and faster that Batman.

The second fight is also inconclusive, Batman is wearing gauntlets designed to fight superhuman and also able to absorb energy from DS staff, he has also found a way to bypass Ikon suit.
It seems Batman is stronger than DS but probably not faster( by DS own words)

In their third fight it ends in a double ko, Batman fractures DS skull while DS put a knife in Batman guts.

In the last issue they trade some punche and after that, they get along and try to leave batcave.

Not being a fanboy I say overall this should be counted as a win for DS.
Batman had to use his special gauntlets in this fight, there's also to say that later Batman would have died without DS help, but this is more due the fact that unlike DS he has no healing factor.

To be fair the scans where Bat ko DS with a sniper rifle happen after DS spared for 2 times Bat's life, after he did sneak on him.
There's also to say that in the few seconds Bat uses the rifle to shoot, DS is able to free himself and run away, imho because despite finding lame what Batman do, he has respect for him.
The fight could have ended in the first pages if Ds was going for the kill.
Also, the rifle may not be Thor's hammer but in the end Batman did need some help to put DS down.

He rarely loses, sure...but at the same time, despite having veen claimed to be one of the most skilled fighters out there and at the same time having superior stats, he has basically defeated no one.
By "no one" I mean elite MA.

That's fair up to an extent, especially depending on how you define elite, but keep in mind the same applies to a lot of Marvel A-listers (e.g. What are Shang Chi's elite MA victories again?). Even without straight wins against the creme de la creme (which I think happens to be more hero heavy in the MU vs DCU, and that affects outcomes), he's usually shown as superior in some way whether or not the fight ends up interrupted, they stop fighting because of his status as the most inspiring and respected hero on the planet, etc.

Taking your argument at face value, I don't think it'd be fair to say Slade could manage more than 50/50--you could argue that Cap's actual win ratio wouldn't guarantee him a majority over Slade, but Cap's infinitessimal loss % is definitely  a strong barrier vice versa.
Sure, I can see 50/50 here with Cap's shield being a counter for DS weapons and healing factor.
My only point is that DS has been shown(by feat ) to be on average better than all other street levelers.

Dont get me wrong, if I were to write Cap, I would write him as being " superior"the same way but I dont think Marvel would allow this...
Wolverine is a better counterpart imho, he and share lot of low showing despite their status.

Sure. Maybe redeem Rhino. Don't care either way. I'm just saying I don't mind having a few relentless losers in comics. They have their uses.

Do they? If they keep losing, there's nothing impressive about the new kid on the block beating them. All that's left is the odd redemption tale or them getting souped up and then getting beaten down yet again. That or they get pitted against weaker and weaker characters, which leads to them losing, which leads to them looking weaker and weaker by proxy.

Mongul has the same problem at DC, he's absolutely sucked since the Crisis. When he was stronger than Superman, it was actually impressive for Supes to take him down, it showed guts and gumption on the Kryptonian's part. Nowadays, beating Mongul is no big deal for the heavy hitters.
You're right, but the main difference here is that Mongul no longer holds any advantage over Superman unlike he had in strenght and probably durability in the past, this means Mongul has no means to win a fight.
On the other hands Rhino is far stronger and durable than SM, he's a jobber of course and will lose almost every time but he has what it takes to kill Peter.

Superman was stated to be more powerful than entire Avengers team that jumped him and straight up more powerful than Thor by Busiek.

Take that as you can. Busiek straight up states that Thor+Avengers team couldn't beat Superman by raw power.
No Abhi, if you get assualted by a group of 20 old women and they beat you...it means these 20 old ladies kicked your ass, even if you could manhandle each one of them.

Mmm ::)

I'm gonna say DS takes this 6/10 for now.
Cap has probably less low showing than DS but the latter has actually defeated some of the best DC MA or at least had the edge against them, it seems Cap ha no notable victory ovwr
