Oculus was pretty good.

Was it, though?

Was it, really?

Justin Bateman, Steve Farrell and Ed Hepms are my favorite actors.

I've been waiting to see those three in a film together ever since Arrested Growth and The Workplace were my two favorite TV shows.

This is one of those issues I can't ever really decide upon. Wyntyr makes a compelling argument, but really, both sides more or less do when I hear people argue this issue.

All I'm here to contribute is that my haircuts are $15-$20. Usually go to Great Clips which is $13 + $3-5 for a tip depending if they make me talk or not.

But more importantly, why am I tipping for a haircut? They don't make 23 cents an hour like waiters do, right?

Co-sign on the greatness of the HB books. I absolutely love them. I love the research into the paranormal that Mignola does. They really feel meticulously crafted. And HB is a fantastically fun character. Behind only Savage Dragon--and even then just BARELY so--Hellboy is my second favorite non-Big Two comic ever.

This was pretty damn good; everyone I went with enjoyed it, anyway. I get the love for the legend that is Curry, but honestly? Skaarsgard was AT LEAST as good. And Curry was great.

The biggest problems I saw were:

1. There were two many kids, and at least two were completely extraneous and not needed.

2. The kids were fucking insufferable for the first half of the film, to the point where I wanted them all to die.

Kitty Pryde

X-Men need to get 6/10 against a solo character. Who do they beat?

Nods to fangirl's WW and Lobo threads.

Morrison's run is hard for me because I hate Quitely's art so very much. It's hard to enjoy anything that looks like that.

This brings up another question that may or may not merit its own thread, BUT...

What determines "stopping" Juggernaut? Does it mean that his forward momentum can not be completely CEASED? Or does it mean that he can not be deterred at all?

What I'm getting at is that while Cold may not be able to STOP Juggernaut... he could still slow him so far down that Juggy would basically be irrelevant to him. Right? Or no?

A few dozens Jamies overpowered She Hulk.

What happened on the next page?

Haha, AP knows who he's dealing with.

Hahahaha +1 for you for saying what I was thinking.

There should be virtually no way Rogers wins this, but I can't imagine a comic where he doesn't just miraculously find a way.

Hmmm. Spidey should be the favorite here, but it's not as cut-and-dried as it's presented. Jamie is an incredibly skilled and clever guy. And all he needs is a slight physical impact to make a dupe. Can Spidey web him so thoroughly that he can't tap his fingers and stomp his foot or bump his head against whatever he is webbed to? Honestly, Jamie could end up overwhelming him pretty easily... eventually.

The thing is, even at Madrox' skill level, it would require a LOT of him to really be a threat to Spidey. What's his durability level? Concussive force creates dupes, yeah, but could Spider-Man still KO him? The best shot I recall him taking without any damage was a card from Gambit (which is pretty impressive).

Captain America Civil War

Wow, what made you change your mind?

I've always really liked Civil War. Zemo is still a shit villain with a ludicrously silly plan and no character, but the airport scene redeems everything else +10.
