Ant-Man was fine when Edgar Wright bailed. I think GotG3 will be fine without Gunn because it has a solid foundation. But yeah, this is unfortunate.

Dude, you're a manbaby crying on the Internet about characters looking different than you do and trying to hide behind some facade about it REALLY being about integrity in games journalism... er, sorry, about you just don't like the writing. No one is running away from you; you're a neanderthal MRA with massive insecurity issues who thinks that the world revolves around your race and gender, and who doesn't have any ground in reality for your opinions. People just get bored with your shtick and leave because it's old, and the fragility is boring to deal with. You're not worth trying to convince you're wrong because losers like you are in their death throes, desperately trying to cling to a bygone era that no one but you cares about. Besides, you clearly spend too much time circle-jerking everyone else who is afraid of the future into a whole "No, it's the children who are wrong" state of mind to care what anyone on the outside of your bubble has to say. So yep. All I got for you is disdain and pity. You're insulated by contempt, anyway.

They make Thor a female character in a fun, well-written and well-received book, and all you have is "OMG SHE IS JUST A POWER FANTASY AND PROPAGANDA". Dude, ALL COMIC BOOKS ARE POWER FANTASIES. They just have some that are written for characters that don't all look like you now. Comics sales have been in the shitter for over two decades now, but you point to the last five years where Marvel (in particular) has tried to branch out with some diversity since their regular market is dying off, and say "AH HA, HERE IS THE PROBLEM", as if the fact that sales have blown since the mid-90's is incomprehensible to you. If only all the heroes were straight white dudes again, sales would be great, but that doesn't explain 1996 through 2010. Comics sales are dying because their base market is growing up in a dying economy, the prices of individual issues are ludicrous, print media is dead AF (and comics are easy to torrent and trade as free files), the books are constantly being rebooted in nonsensical ways, and continuity is being ignored to suit whatever the movies do instead. But yeah, okay. It's all Kamala Khan's fault for being different ethnically and the fact that she doesn't have huge friggin' knockers. What the fuck ever, homefry.

But whatever, guy. I'm done with you. Cry harder about how society is leaving you behind. Because that's the thing, buttercup. You can cry and bitch and fill all the posts you want with bullshit talking points you steal from MRA websites under the tab "HOW TO RESPOND WHEN PEOPLE ARE POINTING OUT YOU ARE A FUCKING LUNATIC". It doesn't change the fact that you and your pathetic ilk are dinosaurs watching the meteor of modern society come sailing in at you, and instead of adapt, you think you're going to shout the meteor down. Good luck with that.

Instead blistering witticisms like that, maybe I'll just recommend you spend less time here showing off your badly bruised fragility and imaginary outlook on the world when you should be out looking for the chromosome nature so cruelly shorted you.

You call a pre-show match against Aiden English "not terrible appealing"?!

abhi and panther idiot does though

Let us know when they think something that isn't idiotic.

not untrue, but to be fair, this goken guy is as big a pair of clown shoes as either of those two. They all deserve each other.

Sometimes you can make a story work even for a character it might not innitially fit if you take your time setting it up. Like Peter Parker leading a successful tech company.

Still waiting for you to give an example of such a story working.

Debate / Re: Will Trump go down as the worst president ever?
« on: July 17, 2018, 03:56:43 PM »
Nothing says resisting warmongers like getting chummy with Putin and fist bumping Erdogan.

Well, YEAH, considering that the warmongers like McCain, the Bushes, Obama and the Clintons all support their proxy terrorists in order to advance US Hegemony.
That doesn't even make sense as a response.

Still pretending like you don't know, eh? uh-huh.

No we are aware you're trying to deflect for Trump.

I was speaking to the established government operative, Paco. I don't blame you for your laughable utter ignorance of American politics beyond your myopic concern about immigration.

But yeah. This is the objective best thing Trump has done so far. It's refreshing seeing fake psuedo Progressives actively support mass murder for their globalist masters, though. Good to see fake liberals support terrorist warmongers who murdered Kennedy for this exact same possibility, too.

This is the Debate forum, right? Knock it off with the name-calling.

Huh? Good for me! I don't recall that at all, but this is a good one.

Anyway, I already love the replies to this topic. You have two massively powerful cosmic forces at war here, and each "side" is badly trying to downplay the other like this is an easy stomp either way. This fuckin' place.

Did he maim himself? it's been a long time since I read that. I might not ever have read it because I can't picture that in my head; I just know how it ends for BB.

Yea?

How many times has Hulk been skinned and worn as a cloak by his foes?

Finally got around to watching this. I really enjoyed it until the finale where Hawk and Miguel went all superevil out of fucking nowhere. Miguel spent the entire season being a really good kid and the Jiminy Cricket to Johnny, and then--out of the blue--he goes full Ric Flair at the tournament just because he had one sad day. It was a complete character swerve, and I didn't love it.

That said, his doing the Crane Kick or whatever in his first match was awesome. Everything else about the finale was weird.

..just because you can't appreciate the God MC doesn't anyone else lacks the ability to enjoy the genre best performer.

Yep, those words almost make a coherent sentence. Good job! You'll get there someday, kiddo.

Voldemort is powerful but a HELL of a one-trick pony. He doesn't use nearly his potential. Theoretically he could just mind control her or Crucio in her into submission. But all he does is shoot killing cures at his problems, and she's going to bracer those away all day.

That said, as long as he has Horcruxes, I'm not sure what she could do to him. He had giants cowering and working for him, so just smashing his head in is probably not a solution.
