Yeah, European myths have a lot of that shit.  Incest, beastiality, rape.  The Norse myths were no different.

Part and parcel with their cave demon cultural roots.

For Sirius question tho, what would be considered the canonical comic book depiction of the very first Scorpion/Sub-Zero fight?

I remember some comic book series that came out when the first game blew up, it portrayed SZ killing Scorpion by tearing his head off Fatality-style. I think it was drawn by the same guy who did the official art for the first couple games?

Not until we discuss how Scorpion's Animalty affects his odds. His was the Penguin that lays explosive eggs, right?

If we're counting Fatalities, does this mean Liu Kang can summon a MK arcade machine to drop on Batman's head? Cuz I'd be totally fine with that.

Scorpion drives Gargan into a corner and wins by constantly sweeping the leg. MK universe may be a paper universe, but remember: paper beats rock.

Nod to ultra bender.

Kong alone against the movie JL was huge mismatch, but what if he's got backup from some other Live-action great apes?

Grodd (  Flash )

Kong ( Toho )

Leatherback ( Pacific Rim )

Kong ( Legendary )

Gray Gorillas ( Congo )

King Louis ( Disney Tarzan )

Koba ( Planet of the Apes )

Everyone follows Grodd's lead. They get a day to arm and prep before 'porting in somehow to Washington DC to wage war on humanity.

Who's walking away from this?

Flash at his best wrecks everyone's fav character. Superman, Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter, Jesus, Jew Jesus, Mohammed, everybody.

Gargans's got the glaring advantage in stats I suppose, I'm no MK lore master, but you know how it goes in comics sometimes when street levelers tackle metas. MK SCorpion's combo of skill, teleportation, and whatever other powers they may have granted him lately make this competitive at least.

Also, Gargan can be such a damn chump. I say he runs away screaming after Scorpion vomits fire on his face or something after an old-school, full-issue comic battle. Drawn by John Buscema ( with Sal  on the bench if John's busy ).

Tarantino went from being possibly over rated, to being severely underrated.

A backlash to a backlash one might say.

Anyway, can't wait to see how Tarantino will work in some liberal uses of the N-word to spite Spike Lee in this setting. Choice cameo by young Geordi La Forge going all Django on some pasty white uppity redshirts?

Abhi's concept of the common scifi trope of hyperspace/stargate travel: a Foghorn Leghorn cutout on a highway stating, "ya'll gotta be going I say ya'll gotta be going FTL to take this heah road."
