Wouldn't a better fight be Blink from The Gifted vs. The Jumper?

DC Drones / Re: Milestone and Tom Strong are back!!

Tom Strong? Man, Moore must be pissssssed.

Yeah, I think DC gets off on pissing him off.

Yeah, just wait until he hears about the new Tom Strong movie....Starring Tom Cruise!!

Maybe I should take that down in case it gives somebody bad ideas.

Never understood his obsession with blondes. In his place, I would have had a rainbow harem. His tended to be pure blondes.

Hadn't much thought about that myself.  But, did definitely note that's all he fucked with.

Probably due to an early obsession with Marilyn Monroe.  Getting his hands on early nude photos of her to publish in his first issue after she was famous put him on the map and started his whole empire.
There's a fanfic story about him selling his soul for that opportunity in there somewhere.

I won't use names in case someone hasn't seen the show yet.
The guests for this week and next became friends of Seth when the worked on his movie "A million ways to die in the west."
Also this week's only really needed to show up, put on a costume jacket and read a one minute message off a cue card.  A cool favor, but not a real imposition.

Have you ever completely lost your shit when you discovered men have names like Kelly, Pat, Bobby, Chris, Sam, or Marion?

Kelly is pretty ambiguous.
I'd probably raise an eyebrow if a guy told me his name was Patricia instead of Patrick.
Same with Christine instead of Christopher or Samantha instead of Samuel.

If you read the summary of Discovery before even watching it, one would naturally assess a character with the name of Michael Burnham would be a man.

I kinda went from binge watching The Good Place straight into Discovery so I guess the resonance of Ted Danson's Michael still played on my mind.

The actress who played the mom on the Walton's was Michael Learned.  So it is apparently a real if not usually seen name for a woman as well.

Both were masters of their eras and styles. I don't think you could call a clear winner.

   Is DCCU the movie universe?

The real world reason for costumes, tech, and aliens all looking a little different is that Paramount TV, the Movie company and CBS all own different merchandiseable parts of the Holy Franchise.

ICT / Re: movie Sebastian Shaw and movie Thor vs movie Superman

Shaw for all his energy manipulation powers is still at base a human being. If Supes is willing to kill he could grab Shaw and have him in airless space before the Nazi prick could react. Give him a little push in the direction of Saturn and head back for the main event.
Again it's Super Speed that carries the day.  Kal lands a hundred punches to Thor's one and if he can avoid getting hit with the hammer, the Kryptonian should win on points.

The Sci-Fi part seems a little weak, and the comedy doesn't slide in as seamlessly as they hoped it would. But.. a lot of shows need a season or two to get their legs under them. I'll stick for now.

ICT / Re: The Sentry VS Champion
« on: September 21, 2017, 10:10:34 PM »
I don't know which character named Champion you're using but Sentry is a power machine. The only way to beat him is to use his glaring and potentially crippling mental issues (re: Bat-Shit Crazy!!) against him.
Under those circumstances, Galactus couldn't beat him but Batman could.

Ult.Cap and Deathstroke are also very pragmatic and tactical fighters, used to the military where getting the job done is most important.  All four of their opponents are more the lone wolf type who even when working in a team situation tend to go solo.
This is not a male/female thing. It's just based on how all six have been written in the past.

ICT / Re: Sasquatch and Snow Bird vs Vixen and Aquaman
« on: September 21, 2017, 09:58:45 PM »
As opposed to standing in 6 inches of water like the picture, Walter can't breathe underwater.  I meant that since Snowbird can transform into any Arctic animal like a seal, if Aquaman and Vixen who could channel a dolphin or shark might want to try and maneuver the fight to any near by body of water leaving Sasquatch stuck on the shore.
The fight now goes from two on two, to two on one. Defeat your enemy and repeat.  DCU wins the match.

Aquaman, Vixen, and Snowbird all can operate underwater, but Sasquatch can't.  If A and V can move the battleground to a lake or ocean during the fight they can divide and conquer.
