The first scan (with Spider-Man and Deadpool) is from Avenging Spider-Man #12.

The second scan (with Cage and Osborn) is from The Pulse #2, or thereabouts.

Edit: I checked to make sure, and it's Pulse #5.

Just for shits and giggles:

Keep wanting to find more scans of this comic, but no idea what the comic is. Same 2-3 scans always show up.
I beleive you mean these scans. ""Unbreakable skin fools""

Kind of off topic, but I've seen a Calvin and Hobbes strip (might be an homage and not actually Watterson) where Hobbes basically stops being real when Calvin gets too busy for him. Anybody know about this or can possibly link it?

That's from New Avengers: An Army of One:

http://www.comicbookdb.com/title.php?ID=24835

Not sure of its status, I would guess probably non-canon as it was a one of a series of specials produced and distributed for free to members of the US armed forces.

Cheers.

The issue is GIANT-SIZE ASTONISHING X-MEN #1. Spider-Man was trying to snap Storm out of a dream state. Most of the NYC-based heroes were gathered to confront the threat of a giant, ten mile-long bullet headed towards Earth, but a spell cast by Dr. Strange went awry and sent each into a dream state, where they saw themselves individually stopping the bullet somehow. Apparently this dream state affected the most powerful heroes the most strongly, so Spidey was one of the first to snap out of it by himself.

If you like Punisher more than you like the three characters pictured... Wolverine fans especially hate that arc.

Daredevil one-shots him and Punisher blows him up prompting him to scream for help like a girl.

He's basically used as comic relief rather than a serious character though. Ennis pretty evidently despises the character.

A lot of weird shit happened in that era of crossovers. Like Venom owning Superman and Spider-Man who were both working together to stop him.

He was dominating that fight until that other guy showed up. Was a funny fight.

I get that Venom was at his prime (Venom Lethal Protector days when he beat Spider-Man easily, took on the Juggernaut, etc etc) and while I am all for Venom at his prime, it was such bad writing LOL. But fuck it, I'm glad it happened. Fuck Superman.

And where is this one from?

Marvel/DC: All Access #4, which was the crossover that came after the initial Marvel vs DC series.

Yeah is it just the jobber factor or was Bishop extra juiced? Seems odd

He wasn't extra juiced at that point, although later on he does absorb energy from Green Lantern. In the previous issue, Bishop seemed to be flash KO'd by a single punch from Batman. That whole series was incredibly weird with power levels.

It's probably the lowest end Superman I can ever recall reading. At one point, he apparently struggles like hell to catch a little hook from a crane, no bigger than his own chest. Also Venom basically laughs at clean punches to the face from Superman (comparing them unfavourably to the Juggernaut's blows).

Cheers.

Don't think it was that big a surprise that Majestic was sitting considering the panel in question had Superman saying "is this seat taken?" while Majestic worked on his traditional restaurant beverage. The real question is who holds their coffee cup in a more embarrassing fashion? That fop, Majestic, or that ape, Superman?

And from an even earlier issue in that mini-series, it took Batman 3 or four hits to ko Scorpion.  Normally an impressive feat but up against chumping Martian Manhunter?

All these years being on the recieving end while having anal intercourses with Batman at  Wayne manor and yet Superman isnt able to hold a cup like Majestic,a very gentleman, does.

Despite his alien culture, his super genius, college education and all those years living in the city.

Superman's at heart, a farm boy.

No matter where he goes, what he does or who he becomes, he'll always be a corn-fed hick from the sticks.

Superman's a cool guy, just not a classy one.
