I got Bulletstorm in from gamefly. Super simplified game with barely a story but it is extremely satisfying and relaxing. Like bro meditation.
-
Playing through Borderlands 2 and Baldur's Gate again
-
The fact you said "bro meditation" means you are a faggot and you really need to die.
But it was a fun game for what it was.
-
The fact that Neo is at 20 karma tells me that this is not the Herochat I grew up with.
-
Just started marvel heroes omega on the ps4
-
Is that free or do you have to buy one of the character packs?
-
Disgaea 5 Complete
Persona 5
-
Running through Dragon's Dogma : Dark Arisen on Steam.

They're fantastic.

You're as well-spoken as a young white Obama
-

Daredevil is free to ps4 users. You also get enough points to buy one of eight different characters and you can earn more points in game.
You can also demo any character until they hit level ten.
-

Like he said, they're fucking fantastic.
Very well-written story, deep and likeable characters, great music, an incredibly
rich and stylish art style (even the menus are slick as fuck), and what's especially
surprising, the game's dub is fucking on top. And jrpgs are not known for that.
There's also a ton of shit to do in order to level up your stats, collecting demons
(personas) to be stronger, etc. There's just a lot to do in the game.
-
Yeah I really dig the art style. I'm a pc guy but I've been thinking about picking up a PS4 for other games with awesome art styles like Bloodborne, so I might just get on that
-
I was interested in grabbing persona 5 when I was at GameStop the other day but the clerk was equal parts overly passionate about selling it to me and socially awkward so I couldn't go through with it.
-
Get it. I assure you, you won't be disappointed.
-
I'm playing the Crash Bandicoot collection right now and using the d-pad like god intended.
-
Diablo 3, Breath of the Wild, and then Shadows of Mordor finally after all that
Or maybe Fallout 4 DLC
-

Cool cool. I'm gonna grab it for the xbone

There's a 17 gig update that has me curious
-
Damn that's a big update
-
Does it have couch co op?
-
Does it have couch co op?
i dunno. I played for 10 minutes then decided I wanted to wait for there to be playable villains
-
Is Fallout 4 worth getting?
-
Since it was the only game I played and beat in 2016 and I never played a fallout game before that, I'd say yes.
-
Hmm... well, I've played Fallout 3 and New Vegas, and really enjoyed them both.

wait for a sale, which are pretty frequent
It's probably better than 3 but not as good as NV
-
Definitely better than 3, definitely not as good as NV

Did he brag about meeting Spencer Pratt at Starbucks?
-

Yes it does. Second player levels a second character for you
-
been playing injustice 2
-
Getting around to finishing chapter 4 and 5 of Batman Telltale game. They did a really good job of keeping reinventing the Batman mythos with this. Especially with how they did a bit of a reversal on the Batman/Joker relationship.
-
My buddy got a card game that we played this weekend before we started D&D. It was called Campy Creatures, and it was relatively fun. There's a lack of much diversity, but it really makes you think hard about what everyone else is going to do.
Also, we played Pandemic: Chthulu or whatever it's called. Game is balls hard.
-
Playing through RE6 with my brother. It's pretty fun
Also I've been playing Final Fantasy Brave
-
Sonic Mania
It makes me happy.
-
Star Wars: Battlefront was on sale for $6 (ultimate edition). I've been alternating between that and...painting up my first Warhammer 40K army ::).
-
Oxenfree. Real fun creepy adventure game. Has a mild Lovecraft vibe.
-
South Park: The Fractured But Whole
-
Just finished Shadow of War and I’m on South Park and will be starting fire emblem warriors over the weekend.
-
Yakuza 0,Salt and sanctuary and a mod for Rome total war.
-
Just finished Shadow of War and I’m on South Park and will be starting fire emblem warriors over the weekend.

I really liked Hyrule Warriors, and this one looks good

I got a few missions in and I’m really liking it. You can play two different modes, one where your characters come back after death and one where they don’t. The characters I’ve used thus far seem different enough to matter. You can also switch between active characters in a battle ala the latest samurai warriors games.
I’ve always been a sucker for the warriors games despite not liking repetition otherwise, but I think it’s great.

Looks like I will be getting this when I get Mario

I need another witcher

Picked up Mario vs. Rabbids today when I pre-ordered Mario Odyssey.

You are doing some wild animal shit to me right now
-
Do not think that this ends here... the history of light and shadow will be written in blood!
-
Played Super Lucky’s Tale on XBone. It’s a cute little platformer but lacking in controls and environment.
-
Just beat persona 5. Forgot how much I enjoyed Atlus rpgs. Fuck, that game was long though.
-
I'm playing Skyrim on Switch now.
-
I picked up Battlechasers from Target online for $18. This is some pretty solid old school turn based rpg action.
-
My whole family (minus Dumbass Son and The Wife) have been playing the shit out of Fortnite for the last couple of weeks (while they've been on winter break). I broke down and bought a few skins and cosmetic items since everyone seems to enjoy it. My Girls are fucking terrible at it lol.
The Daughter does ok in Squads; mostly just runs around following her team and giving their position away, but she gets the occasional KO on other players.
New Girl has no idea what she's doing, but she's having fun doing it!
The Son plays the least at the moment, but he's ok.
Son #3 either dies in the first 2 minutes or makes top 5. There's no in between for him.
I tend to finish top 5, but I don't play much so my fort building skills are lacking. I get by on guile and cleverness, get close to winning and then some bunny hopping 12 year old hits me with a rocket or some shit and I die. Always the bridesmaid :(.
-
About to start Dragonball FighterZ instead of sleeping like I should be doing.
-
Monster Hunter: World
-
Monster Hunter: World
Oh shit, it's out already??!?!
-
Yeah, came out yesterday.
-
Finally got around to buying Monster Hunter World. Haven't had much time to play this week; just opened up the 3rd area this morning, but there's still a couple of monsters I haven't hunted in the Forest and Wastes (Rahalos & Diabolo, specifically). Pretty fun. I've never played a MH game so I had no real expectations of the gameplay experience; just looked fun from some hunting videos I'd seen on YouTube.
For those that play, what weapon are you using? I've tried a few out; so far it's the Dual Blades and Insect Glaive I like the most.
-
I've been playing COD WwIi, Dcu heroes. Been thinking of picking up Oculus. I've had a pretty good time playing brass tactics, Robo recall, dead drift, The Climb is a bitch. Dead & buried good lil shooter, There's a graffiti one that's pretty good.
-
Far Cry 5. I bought it on launch day, but my computer shit the bed and I just now got it back. Killing religious extremists in 4k is pretty dope
-
EverQuest until Dark Souls on Switch happens
Only ever played about a half hour of Dark Souls on a friend's computer when it launched, and watched someone play through Bloodborne (dat lore, doe) so this should be interesting
-
Resident evil 7,I finally got it.
Also, playing Gran Turismo-
-
I've been playing NBA 2K18. Second season of my created character's career. Capped off my rookie year with a Finals victory and Finals MVP. Year two and my team is currently undefeated heading into the All-Star Break. I'm leading the way for MVP, Most Improved (since I'm dropping almost 40 a night, a slight improvement over my 14ppg from year one lol) and I SHOULD make All NBA 1st Team and I have an outside shot at DPOY, since I'm currently 3rd or 4th in steals, with more blocks (by a huge margin) over any other guard or position, except for Center, and holding my opponents to 35ish% and about 14pts. a night (having to guard the Hardens and Butlers of the world, and just as often SF players, is fucking up my average).
Basically, even on All-Star or Hall of Fame, the game isn't too difficult. The closest I've come to losing a season game is a 12pt. win over Portland; everything else has been a blow-out victory lol. I like playing pick-up games, once in awhile, but I almost always end up with scrubs on my squad since I'm only 89OVR, currently. Dumbshit kids have no idea how to box out, play the pick'n'roll, or anything resembling basic basketball, and just launch half-court 3s over and over and over. OR...they dribble out the clock and then try a late dunk that gets swatted. Meanwhile, I'm fucking WIDE OPEN. It's frustrating haha.
-
I've finally jumped on the Overwatch train after picking it up for $20 for the Xbox one.
-
Vampyr.
Spent several hours on it,I like the game even if far from being perfect.
-
I've been playing this game where I pretend to not want to die so that my friends and family aren't so weirded out. I'm really good at it, but it's exhausting
-
I started taking cheat codes for that. It makes playing more fun.
-
Finishing up Yakuza 0. Might end up grabbing the remake just because I enjoyed it a lot.
-
The Division. It has my #1 and #2 favorite real life guns (PX4 Storm and Vektor .45) in it, so it's my new favorite
-
Mario X Rabbids Donkey Kong expansion.
-
Mario X Rabbids Donkey Kong expansion.
SAME
And Fractured But Whole
And a bit of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 grinding
Still shy 2 Blades for the completion
-
Finishing up Yakuza 0. Might end up grabbing the remake just because I enjoyed it a lot.
Loved it,I bought also kiwami months ago but never played it because I found Majima
-
Crash Bandicoot N-Sane Trilogy
-
Octopath Traveler
-
Knights of the Old Republic 2 lol. I have never played through as a female character, and I discovered it’s backwards compatible with XBone. Soooo, yeah, playing through for the 5th or 6th time haha. Just started, so I’m on the Telos space station at the moment...
-
Octopath Traveler
How is it? I was thinking of picking it up.
I didn’t like Xenoblade, FWIW.
-
Octopath Traveler
How is it? I was thinking of picking it up.
I didn’t like Xenoblade, FWIW.
It's like a significantly more beautiful version of an SNES or PSOne jrpg.
It's not perfect, but I got it day one with no regrets so far.
-
^^^ Who are your favorite characters so far?
I’ll probably get it tomorrow.
-
The character you start with is locked in until Chapter 4. You can choose from 8 of them. I'd recommend you don't start with Haanit. She's strong, but her olde aenglish gets tiresome.
I started with Therion, the thief. I like him and Tressa, the merchant, a lot.
My friend likes mage builds so once you get secondary classes(later) he made 2 mages.
-
On the Octopath bandwagon
Picked Alfyn, because normally I would have just picked Olberic
-
I’m playing with Tressa as my main. I picked her because I thought her skills were good.
I can’t imagine not having Cyrus, he’s great for breaking multiple enemies at once.
I’m alternating between Alfric and H’aanit, and Olberic and Ophilia for the last two slots.
-
How do you like it?
-
I alternate between likeing it a lot and being frustrated by it. I’m not a big JRPG player so figuring out combat strategy is a work in progress. My strategy consists of trying to break groups of monsters using multi-target attacks (spells, H’aanit’s arrow attack), then focusing on one enemy. I feel like there’s another layer of complexity that I’m not getting. I’m not very good at using buffs and debuffs, or synergizing secondary jobs. From what I understand buffing/debugging is key for bosses and mid to late game play. I know I’m not using Alfric as effectively as I could be. Or Primrose, or the thief.
-
Therion has an ability that lowers both defenses for at least 3 turns. Add a BP and you're looking at 5 turns of 1.5x damage and a higher chance of critical even when they're not weak to your weapon.
A lot of monsters are vulnerable to daggers. His steal SP and Steal HP abilities both strike twice on every turn.
-
Darkest Dungeon. Loving it
-

OK, I get it now. Yeah, he's pretty dope, especially against enemies weak to daggers. I might give him the Dancer job so he can both buff and de-buff.
-
A private dancer, dancer for money
-
Been busy lately, but I’ve been trying to put time in on Warframe again as well as getting a chance to try that big update from No Manks Sky.
-

Ham and Liquid don't like him.
I've not cracked into the minutiae of the game, and probably won't, but characters are usually pretty well balanced in these sorts of games.A lot of monsters are vulnerable to daggers. His steal SP and Steal HP abilities both strike twice on every turn.
This is only my second JRPG after Chrono Trigger, and I guess technically Xenoblade Chronicles 2, and I've been taking Alfyn clockwise and so far it almost seems like the game is designed around moving clockwise, as far as what is vulnerable to what when you get there, and who should be in your party if you've been picking them up in the same clockwise motion.

I'm at a point where I can't imagine how tough this game would be without Therion. He almost never gets hit, he can refill my mages with SP, he can self-heal and restore, I get great gear before I can afford it... Pretty damn great.
-
There's plenty of evasion gear you can obtain to make anyone basically untouchable.
-

I know, I have a lot of it.
-
Also Primrose has the best story and theme music and if you say otherwise you are a sexist who hates powerful strong women.
-
Working through my back catalog now so I'm switching between Sunset Overdrive and The Halo collection with my wife. Trying to get those summer skins for overwatch too.
-
FFXV. S'good
-
Anybody pick up MH:W on pc yet?
-
No, I have it on PS4. RIP
-
I've been going through the Streets of Rage series again.
-
Finished KotOR 2 pretty quickly as a female Jedi. Nothing too terribly different than playing through as a dude, aside from the Handmaiden/Disciple companion. I've never really tried using the droids as my main companions (GoTo & HK). Might take another swing at it, darkside and work with them.
Until then, playing through KotOR 1 as I've only played through it twice, and the last time was at least a decade ago.
-
Finally got around to playing TellTale's Walking Dead Season 3 (New Frontier). I have the first episode of S4 to play once I'm done with that.
-
Just started "Jade Empire". Only really played through once that I can recall. Apparently I only wish to play old ass games. Pretty much just waiting for Red Dead Redemption 2 this fall, although I might pick up Warhammer 40K: Inquisitor, as I'd like to play a game from that universe.
-
Anyone getting RDR2 has to make a pledge to play with me. I'm race-traitoring the PC master race and buying a PS4 just for RDR
-
I can play with you since you're graduating to a PS4.
-
Spider-Man
-
I'm playing Shadow Warrior. This game is a great game for when you only got a little time to kill. Easy, fun, easy to walk away from if you have to go do something, chapters are short.
-
The only video game I play is Overwatch and the only character I play as is Hanzo
-
Xenoblade 2 Torna DLC
Just finishing up the Blades' Affinity trees before I take on Malos and lose, but win
-
Horizon: Zero Dawn, second time as I lost my saves from a HDD crash. Can't get over how good this game looks.
-
Finished Spider-Man last week. Playing the Kingdom Heart remixes until RDR2 at the end of the month.
-
RDR2 for the last week or so. Digging it so far; I definitely like Arthur Morgan more than I liked Marston.
-
Right? It felt weird to admit at first, but now I'm unashamed
-
Saving RDR2 for when I get bored with GTA Online, I've gotten really decent at driving and shooting, I have a nightclub and warehouses and all that shit now, money is just rollin in.
-
Bulletstorm.
Very underrated game.
-
Sunset Overdrive just came out for the PC yesterday, so I'll be playing that today. New Spider-Man DLC comes out in a few days, too. At this rate, I won't finish RDR until sometime next year and then it'll get held up when Kingdom Hearts 3 comes out.

I'd give it an 8. Really fun game with great graphics. The detail in the suits is amazing. Only real downside is the repetitive crimes you have to stop for 100%. The DLC started out good with The Heist but took a nosedive with the second part. It got better with the finale even though I didn't like how they handled Hammerhead. Oh, also to hell with Screwball. Thanks, Dan Slott for giving us that crap character.
Playing Dead by Daylight the last week. It's not bad but it seems like no one ever talks to each other. I try to help others by unhooking/healing/etc but when I'm the one in a bad situation, I get left to die most of the time. I guess it doesn't help that whoever plays the killer usually camps out where you're hooked until you're dead.
