I wanted to grab it on FCBD, but my store was sold out of #1 and #2. I should go try to find it this weekend.

First arc was pretty bland honestly, but Guggenheim's heart is in the right place. I think X-men Blue started out stronger, though the fact that the original time-tossed members are still around continues to fill me with furious fury. This gimmick needs to evolve or die.

Read the first four issues and does have that X-men feel, but the interpersonal relationships should be more plated up. Specifically w/ Nightcrawler, Storm, and Colssus being of a class with Wolverine who they don't really know, and then there's the 3 Excalibur members of Kitty, Rachel, and NC. Just a lot of history... Don't need them to get crazy with it, but some winks...mostly just ant more NC hanging with people. Glad Kitty and Colossus have that weird tension.  Also great to see Kitty and to a lesser extent Rachel really come into their own.

Maybe they should be in their own comic call it "The New Mutants" or something?

Until they fuck it up like they usually do, with unneeded crossovers and direction changes, i'll enjoy it, then drop it.

Sorry, but i have little to no faith in Marvel's ability to put out a book of this quality for any length of time.

The one my thigh or head maybe, but not the constantly chirping nest of bird chicks that's my insatiable nutsac.
