It sucks Del Toro and Perlman won't be back but everything about this reboot sounds solid. I hope Doug Jones comes back in some capacity though. He's very underrated.

I always wanted to like the HB movies more than I could. They weren't BAD at all, they just... weren't what I wanted or was expecting.

I am on board for a reboot, but I will miss Pearlman.

When do I get a damn Savage Dragon flick, though?

Well half the Del-Toro charm are the practical effects.

I love both the HB movies, and if Perlman doesn't succeed in his Presidential run they should get him for the Reboot. I read the books in the Perlman voice. Hopefully the Adapt the Storm and the Fury, because that would be metal as can be! Mignola and Duncan Fegredo turned out one of the most brutal, grand and confusing comics out there!

I don't like the idea of an R Hellboy. I like that the movies were fairly light. Hellboy does not need to be Logan.

Well Hellboy himself is a jovial and funny characters, his stories are pretty damn dark.

It doesn't have to be HB3 but I'd really like to see what Del Toro does with a 200 million budget.

Yeah.

I want a Del-Toro and Genndy Tartokovsky project. And yes, Hellboy doesn't need an R rating. Honestly there isn't a lot beyond language that they couldn't do with PG-13 Hellboy venture. The tone maybe, but both of the first two HB movies were on-point there as well.

Hellboy doesn't need an R rating. The comics had a pulpy, Indiana Jones-meets-Cthulhu vibe and the movies were true to this. You can have some really scary scenes without an R rating, like the scene in Hellboy 2 with the flesh-eating insects.

Eh, a lot of them are light in tone despite the horrible background events, but some of them probably would call for it. Some of the noir-ish shorter stories.

I like this guy's approach to taking on the character so far. Hope he follows through. - I'm Also glad Mignola had a hand in writing the script. Shot of the hand fitting:
