Nope.

It's boring as shit, for sure.

But compared to Ravagers, Liefeld's books, etc it's high art.

Its awful. Its Superman as a mopey emo with no balls who gets beat up by a villian of the week who are all made up emo- 90's style villians who appear and then shuffle off for the next villian of the week. I don't understand the 90's style writing and the semi-grnge era inspiration of villian's like Anguish and whoever the hell it was that Superman fought this week. It feels completely devoid of all inspiration

Superman wins. Just let that be said, so I don't have to repeat myself too often. Superman is also much, much better than your favorite hero in any conceivable way. Doom rules, Thanos drools. Also, Hitler is still dead.

There is not much else to expect from Blan Jurgens.

That was my principal gripe. felt like they had a poor rthymn going in bt they were experimenting with story lines
Jurgens takes a paycheck and writes cookie cutter stories

I literally dont believe Superman will be a compelling character as long as paycheck types are writing him -
e -
This will likely changfe - I see a few signs of it but for now he is languishing erized in in Jurgensville and badly characterized (awfully) in JLA
