As I said in the other drinks thread Delerium Tremens is my favorite beer of all time. Nocturn is great too, but I prefer the Tremens. My buddy just opened a bar over here and I got him to start distributing it - finally I can drink it whenever I want again.
I like Belgians in general, whether from there or the States. Gulden Draak is another killer one from Belgium I used to pick up once in a while in Philly.
Allagash does some good stuff as far as US Belgian styled stuff.
My favorite dark beer is the Flying Dog Gonzo Imperial Porter they put out when HST died, though they've scaled back the alcohol content a bit since making it permanently available (from like 14%, mind you).
