That could either mean that you are in the UK watching hordes of us on holiday or that hordes of us are in American being watched by you there. If former we should meet up for drink. If later we should synchronise watches, taking time difference into account and have a drink at the same time. |

On the plus side, we saved 225 bucks on our theme park entrance by sitting through a time-share sales pitch early on a Sunday morning.
Had a fucking WICKED time anyway. Saw lots of gators and rode some hardcore rides in the theme parks, including the new 'Simpsons' virtual rollercoaster at Universal Studios and the 'Spider-Man' and 'Hulk' coasters at Universal Islands of Adventure. I was marking out non-stop in the Marvel zone at Islands of Adventure. The wife wanted me to pose with a guy dressed up as Wolverine, but alas I drew the line there. Rogue would've been fine, coz she was foxy, and Cap would've been OK, but Storm or Wolverine? NEVER!

I was vaguely pleasantly surprised, but I certainly don't think it was any better than the last 'Hulk' movie overall. For all the whining about Hulk's absence from the screen in the last one and the promises that he'd be more omnipresent this time, I didn't find that to be the case at all ... although there was more action, that's for sure.
IMO, Ang Lee's 'Hulk' was a far more inventive movie, with better actors in the roles of Betty and 'Thunderbolt' Ross and much flashier direction, but it suffered from a couple of really duff scenes and a miscast lead actor. In the newer movie, Norton was an effective Bruce Banner and there were more fight scenes, but I really didn't the special FX were much superior, if at all - in fact, I much preferred the look of the Hulk in Lee's movie to the more recent gimlet-eyed version.
Tony Stark turning up at the end though ... QUALITY. The folks in the cinema LOVED that one. There were loads of whispers of 'Oh my god ... it's Iron Man!'
