yeah, it counts. as for the Wicker Man.....damn i wanted to like that movie....it was offensive to just about everyone and has Christoper Lee.....but all the singing got to me. i thought it was gonna break out into a full blown musical at one point

That's part of its appeal, and part of what makes it creepy. It also enrages my father-in-law, who is a diehard folk fan and believes 'The Wicker Man' soiled the good name of folk. Besides, corn rigs are bonny.

Never saw the original, but the Nic Cage version of Wicker Man is HILARIOUS. When he starts WTFPWNING the women-folk left and right with his kung-fu skills is fantastic, but man, when he starts getting fucked up at the end ("Ohhhh...the BEEES! ARRRGHLSKHGSDLG!!!") it turns into full-blown comedy GOLD.

Seriously, watch the original. I haven't seen the remake but I gather it sucks. The original is viewed as a classic of the horror genre, and probably the best British horror movie ever made, including all the Hammer stuff.
